The theme of a wedding is usually based around the bride's choice of bouquet and sunflower are popular for a summer wedding. The sunflower is not an expensive flower, so having a sunflower theme will probably not be too expensive. If the bride has decided on a sunflower theme, then the next choice for sunflower is whether to have the large or small bloom sunflowers. For sunflower made from the larger bloom, only three to five blooms will be needed for the bridal bouquet, otherwise, if the bride uses smaller blooms then as many as seven may be needed for the bridal bouquet.
Sunflower are not expensive as the actual flowers are not top of the price range at a florist; some brides even decide to grow their own. Sunflower seeds are easy to cultivate and it can be fun for the bride to have grown her own bouquet.
For sunflower wedding bouquets, some florist will recommend adding some smaller different flowers to the bouquet to ‘fill it out’. The carnation is a popular combination for the sunflower. You can pretty much guarantee that you sunflower will be a bridge yellow, make sure that you clarify with your florist if you would like any other flowers to match the brightness or to use a subtler tone.
Accompaniments To The Sunflower Wedding Bouquets
Once the bride is settled on sunflower wedding bouquets, there are the other floral arrangements to consider. If bridal sunflower to be made from large bloom sunflowers, then the brides maid or flower girls could simply carry one large bloom sunflower each. This is pretty in its simplicity. Regardless of the size of bloom in the sunflower the table arrangements will probably either need to be short stemmed, small bloom sunflowers, which the guest will look over, or long stemmed, large bloom sunflowers, which the guest will look around. If you are choosing to have the large bloom, it is best to choose tall narrow vases which the guests can look around and do not obstruct conversations.
Sunflower And Rain.
Every bride worries about how their wedding will turn out if the weather goes against them. With sunflowers, the association is of long warm evenings and bright sunny days, but if the weather does not match your plan, will it be a problem? The glow and brightness of sunflower will always overcome the weather. The photographer will find a location hidden away from the rain and wind and you will still have beautiful sunny photos. Equally the sunflower is quite a sturdy bloom and is not as susceptible to temperature change as some other flowers, so the sunflower will behave whatever the weather.
